Salads are great to bulk your meals up and help you to eat less. They also make perfect starters and light lunches or dinners. And if you include the foods that burn fat in your salad, you will also lose some fat.
There is 3 main fat burning ingredients. Yogurt, rocket leaves ( you can changed for spinach) and bean sprouts.
The rest of ingredients is for taste and colors but aren’t add fat to your meal.

Sunshine sprouting salad
This is a very unique and tantalizing salad. It’s super low in fat and high in healthy veggies and fiber.
Number of fat burning foods: 3 (rocket leaves, sprouts and yogurt)
Calories per serving: 73
Fat per serving: 1g
1 large carrot, grated
125g radishes, trimmed and thinly sliced
50g wild rocket leaves
75g mixed bean sprouts
4 tablespoons fat free plain yogurt
2 teaspoons honey
Salt and pepper to season
- Slice the tops and the bottoms of the oranges.
- Cut of the skin taking away as much white as possible.
- Slice in between segments to remove the flesh and allow the segments to fall into a bowl with the juice.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the carrot, radish slices, rocket and sprouts. Drain the orange segments reserving the juice and add the oranges to the bowl.
- Mix the orange juice to the bowl with the yogurt and the honey and season to taste.
- Pile the sprouting salad into individual dishes and drizzle with the dressing.
